Create your First Power Automate SharePoint Alert Flow

#. Step 1: Create a new cloud flow

First, navigate to Power Automate page and then follow the below steps with the help of the images.

#. Set The Properties

After the flow has been created, follow the below steps to set different properties of the flow.

After following the steps, click on save on the top right corner of the screen.

#. Test The Alert Flow

If your flow has been setup correctly and saved successfully then, your flow should trigger within 5 minutes of uploading the file. If you wish to reduce the trigger time, you will need to buy a better license.

After the flow has triggered successfully, you will receive the below email.

Now if you head back to the Power Automate page, you will see the flow run has been successful.

#. Final step

That’s it, your SharePoint Alert Email Flow is now complete, You can come back to the flow page and modify the flow by clicking on the edit button just beside the flow name. And after modifying, click on save to save the changes.

#. Create a Power Automate Alert Flow Template

To create a Power Automate flow template, navigate to the flow page and select export. Choose options, “Select During Import” and “Create new“. Please check the following image to understand better.
